What's Endothermic?

Ah... Winter Break is just around the corner.
I was going back through old photos recently and stumbled upon my most recent trip to Disney World (2014). Smiling as I scrolled through the memories, I began to relive the moments with family and friends that I'll hold forever.
It's easy to forget the fun.
"We don't laugh at the same joke again, why do we cry on the same problem again?" ~Gaur Gopal
It's interesting how easy it is to forget the good times as we trudge for weeks/months through the bad. It's so upsetting!
Being Endothermic is having the ability to generate heat even when it's not warm outside in order to sustain bodily functions. All animals (even giraffes) have this ability, as do we, allowing us to regulate our internal temperature -- but what about our emotional temperature? If only there was a system that could help keep us happy for longer than 2 minutes.
Oh wait. There is.
It's called free will.
There are three things no one can make you do.
Think, Feel, Respond.
You have absolute authority over these, no matter what happens in your life, the ability to control your reactions is all up to you.
Now I understand, someone could have had an extreme head-injury, or maybe their chemicals are off balance due to medications etc. In which case the reactions are based on the biological structure of each individual. Even then however there is power within a person to control SOME reactions.
Example in my own life: I post a lot of things on the Minnesota Vikings Facebook page. I really like to comment and see responses from fellow fans :)
However, some "fans" don't like my theories or input, and they take the time to scour over my profile to find things to fault me for. "You're ugly, you're stupid, you're an idiot!"
Now I have a few options:
(1) I could be devastated by these remarks and delete my account while I cry and cower under my bed sheets.
(2) I could mull passively about the situation to a friend while in a state of defeat.
(3) I could let the whole thing slide over and prioritize my thoughts, knowing I'm a great person with good tastes and be confident in who I am.
(Those who belittle others are themselves the most fragile and insecure -- this REALLY helps me when dealing with these type of people. I know how miserable there life is and can step over there offenses easily. Consider the source!)
Find a way to regulate your emotions pronto, then watch your life and dreams unfold.
